Sitka Whalefest and Sitka Sound Science Center are joining forces. As part of the strategic restructuring Sitka Sound Science Center would like to welcome Linda Waller – a former Sitka Whalefest board member- to out Board. Linda grew up in Vermont on Lake Champlain and has always loved being on or in the water. She loves to travel, SCUBA dive, snorkel, and kayak. Linda is currently employed at Sitka Sound Seafoods as the computer network manager. Linda has been volunteering for Sitka WhaleFest  for 12 years and was also a volunteer on a whale research trip to Seymour Canal in December 2006.  Linda volunteered for Sitka Whalefest for many years, and  joined the Sitka WhaleFest Board in 2011. We are grateful to have her energy and enthusiasm supporting our organization.
